Case Three consists of two double ended drums.

Numeracy Strategy
Polysymmetric Patterns (Drum 1/1)
Shape and space.
Properties of shapes, symmetry.
Polysymmetric Patterns is presented in the Fresco Interactives drum format. The activity provides a hexagonal-patterned plane background and a supply of coloured hexagonal tiles from which to create designs showing reflective and rotation symmetry.
Left and Right (Drum 1/2)
Shape and space.
Reflective symmetry.
Left and Right is presented in the Fresco Interactives drum format. The activity is for two people to investigate how to use knowledge of symmetry to match right and left-hand versions of the same shape. The activity includes various objects and bricks and a clear screen which acts as a mirror on the black background.
Number Skills (Drum 2/1)
Numbers and the Number System.
Mental calculations; solving problems.
Number Skills is presented in the Fresco Interactives drum format. The activity consists of three separate write-on puzzles to practise and apply mental arithmetic in different contexts.
Pascal Patterns (Drum 2/2)
Numbers and the Number System.
Properties of numbers. Number sequences.
Pascal Patterns is presented in the Fresco Interactives drum format. The activity is for one person to derive a Pascal numbers sequence and, by means of write-on overlays, to make discoveries about different number sequences which can be derived from the Pascal triangle.
